Okay, the item is awesome. We hooked everything up last night and sure enough, the IPhone’s are charging. The case is slim all considering and the micro usb even allows you to charge the unit say in your card without taking off the case.

No wires is what they advertise and this is exactly what it does.. You simply place the iphone within the case and then place on the powermat. It charges and then stop when fully charged.

I would have given it five stars except they do not make a iphone case in white (and well my spouse has a white iphone)!!!

I can’t see the point to this thing. When I purchased it I thought you could just set your electronics on it and they would charge. Little did I know that you still need to buy a $30 dollar reciever for your devices. I dont see how this makes things easier. When you get home instead of just plugging in your phone, you need to put on the reciever and then you can place it on the mat. It seems easier to just plug the phone in. No need for a $130 charger. I will be returning this product tomorrow, and I will do everything I can to make sure others don’t waste their money on this.

I got this for my son as a Christmas present, and he much prefers the receiver case to the receiver dock (I bought him both). If you have an iPhone only, this is really all you need to use the PowerMat.

First off, who cares if it interfears with the compass? I’m not a boy scout. Great for people on the go who need a quick charge. The mini USB that comes with the pad works fine for syncing. The only drawback I find is when you need to charge in your car, you must remove the case. This could be solved if Powermat sold a min usb car charger.
